Play Leader (Lunchtimes)

 

The Advertised Post – Part-Time Play Leader

Grade 2 Point (£24,796 per annum, pro rata)

6.25 Hours per week term time only with flexibility

 

 From November, we require a Play Leader to join our lunchtime team from 11.45am - 1.00pm every day. This will be 5 days a week Monday - Friday, term time only. 

  

Inclusion Teaching Assistant

 

Fixed Term Contract: October 2025– 31st July 2026 

38 weeks per year

Grade 3 -28.33 hours per week

From October 2025, we require an Inclusion Teaching Assistant with enthusiasm and flexibility to join our staff team.

The contracted hours will involve being an Inclusion Teaching Assistant, working in close partnership with a Classroom Teacher, to support two year 6 pupils with EHCPs during the school day.

From October 2025, we require an Inclusion Teaching Assistant with enthusiasm and flexibility to join our staff team to support a child in Year 1 with an EHCP. 

The contracted hours will involve being an Inclusion Teaching Assistant, working in close partnership with a Classroom Teacher, to support a pupil  with an EHCP during the afternoon.

Assistant Headteacher 

 

Assistant Headteacher – Inclusion and Personal Development

Permanent Contract: Commencing 1st January 2026 (or sooner)

From January 2026, we require an experienced practitioner to work alongside Heartwood Federation’s Executive Deputy Headteacher and other members of Upton St Leonard’s Senior Management Team, to strategically lead Inclusion, Pupil Premium provision and Personal Development in the school.

  

 

Breakfast Club Assistant

 

The Advertised Post – Breakfast Club Club Assistant (5hrs per week)

Permanent Contract

38 weeks per year 7.45am– 8.45am Monday to Friday, Grade 3

 From the 3rd November 2025, we require a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our Upton Earlies Club. Breakfast Club assistants help facilitate the smooth running of our wrap around care in the mornings, with main duties that include applying the club’s behaviour policy, preparing healthy breakfast and safeguarding the children.  

 Ideally, applicants should have some experience of working with children.

 

Afterschool Club Assistant

 

The Advertised Post – Afterschool Club Assistant (7.5hrs per week)

Fixed Term Contract

38 weeks per year 3.00pm– 4.30pm Monday to Friday, Grade 3

From the 3rd November 2025, we require an Afterschool Club Assistant with an inclusion background to join our Upton Lates Club. Afterschool Club assistants help facilitate the smooth running of our wrap around care in the mornings, with main duties that include applying the club’s behaviour policy, preparing healthy snacks and safeguarding the children.  

 Ideally, applicants should have some experience of working with SEN children.
