Pastoral Support Worker

From January 2020 we require an additional Pastoral Support Worker with enthusiasm and flexibility to join our Inclusion Team.

This post incorporates the role of learning mentor in a wider role.

The Pastoral Support Worker will provide specific emotional support to children and their families, in order to ensure that every pupil achieves their potential through the provision of targeted support, signposting to services and interventions.

Applicants should be hardworking, resilient and flexible, with a passion for securing the best possible outcomes for vulnerable pupils.

As our school is a Church of England (controlled) School, we place an emphasis on Christian values, and we would expect applicants to be supportive of these. We use the Gloucester Diocese’s ‘Values for Life’ and ‘Roots and Fruits’ schemes across the whole school.
